Pathology lesson of the day: What doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make you stronger.

If you get a cut or incision, and scar tissue forms at the site, your skin matrix there forms randomly. So even though it looks thicker, it’s not as strong. That means, God forbid, if someone decides to pull apart your skin with enough force, your skin would rip at the seams of your scars first. Insert mental picture < here >.
